Working on behalf of the Center for Affordable Housing Finance in Africa (CAHF), and with the assistance of many local and regional experts, AHI conducted evaluations to explore the cost of a basic, entry-level house across many different countries in Africa, and to understand what drives cost differences. To realize this goal, AHI developed and implemented a methodology through which the performance of different housing markets in Africa can be legitimately compared over time.
