Public Housing Innovation

A housing authority with a diverse portfolio including authority-owned public housing, public/private properties, and privately owned properties wished to position itself for coming changes in public housing, and to compete effectively as an owner-manager of affordable and market-rate housing. Led by David Smith, Recap, in collaboration with The Compass Group, we analyzed the authority’s properties both individually and as part of the overall portfolio. Recap recommended specific actions and strategies to allow the authority to meet its goals.
