Housing Ecosystem Analysis & Solutions for Refugees in Lebanon

The overarching objective of this study was to provide short, medium, and long-term recommendations for various stakeholders (central government, local government, private sector, civil society, international development agencies, and relief organizations) to improve access to adequate housing for Syrian refugees and vulnerable host communities in Lebanon. Recommendations were made based on a comprehensive evaluation of the formal and informal rental and ownership housing ecosystems in Lebanon, drawing on relevant regional and international experiences, and building on the extensive existing studies that have already been conducted on this topic.
