Battle Creek Community Development Assessment

AHI conducted a housing and community development assessment for the City of Battle Creek, Michigan. The project examined Battle Creek’s housing market conditions, neighborhood revitalization needs, nonprofit capacity, and opportunities to attract new public, private, philanthropic, and community development capital. The assessment was designed to help local leaders understand gaps in the city’s housing and community development ecosystem and identify practical strategies to strengthen housing choice, stabilize neighborhoods, support equitable development, and improve the capacity of local institutions to deliver long-term impact.
