Lamont Davis is the CEO of KLD Construction Management Services. Lamont believes in hard work and in helping people and communities to be the best they can be. Lamont is proud to have in his career risen from an unemployed job seeker to directing programs that empowered low income families to maintain their dignity and tenure in their homes at various organizations. These experiences culminated in him cofounding Community First a leading housing rehabilitation organization in the City of Milwaukee and serving as its Program Director for many years. Lamont is currently working with the Community Development Alliance of Milwaukee on stakeholder engagement and with the Affordable Housing Institute as a local advisor. He also is a new business owner and is very excited to be working on many initiatives including developing contractors, creating alternative housing solutions and assisting community groups to thrive and flourish.
Lamont is a father of three children. He is also the Paw Paw to two energetic grandsons and three charismatic granddaughters. He is a social entrepreneur donating time to many Boards and Committees. He is squarely focused on creating a legacy for his descendants to reverse the effects of generations of wealth inequity in communities of color.
