Janique Crosdale is AHI’s communications coordinator. She manages AHI’s internal and external communications and visibility efforts. Janique supports AHI’s mission to tackle global issues concerning affordable housing, finance, and development by raising awareness about these issues and AHI’s role in combatting them. She also assists in the organization’s fundraising efforts.
Her interest in housing stems from personal experiences and general observations of the housing market in her native Jamaica, including the disenfranchisement of young persons and the poor seeking housing on the island.
Janique has worked in various communication roles across non-profit and for-profit organizations and is driven to use her skills to raise awareness about the issues around housing affordability and possible solutions.
Janique graduated from Sciences Po, Bordeaux with a Master’s degree in Public and Political Communication in 2021. She also holds Master of Science and Bachelor of Science degrees in Politics and International Cooperation from the University of the West Indies (Mona) in Jamaica as well as a Bachelor of Science in Political Science from the Université des Antilles in Martinique.
She speaks English natively, French proficiently and Spanish and Dutch conversationally. When she is not working, Janique can be found reading, cooking, or exploring Jamaica and the Caribbean.
